Every business owner needs what’s called an elevator speech. That’s what you tell prospective clients about why they should do business with You. Here are some of the top reasons that you should hire a personal trainer or, more to the point, hire Train With Corey as your personal trainer.
When you look into hiring a personal trainer there are many factors to consider. The stakes are very high because if you don’t hire the right personal trainer you might not get the most out of your time and your money.
The number one factor – does the trainer’s personality match yours. Everyone knows how they respond to encouragement and what motivates them. For example: do you respond well to a positive uplifting tone or do you need a kick in the butt? Or, do you need a sympathetic, understanding personal trainer with a great deal of patience? You should take time to interview potential personal trainers so that you know their philosophy on motivation and you get to know his/her personality.
Other factors you might want to consider include the types of workouts and exercises that they focus on. Do they believe in back to basics, do they focus on weight training or do they specialize in boot camps or boxercise? At Train With Corey, we have something for everyone covering everything from the basics, to sports-specific training programs.
Experience is also a key factor. How long have they been involved with personal training? Do they have references that you can contact? How do they stay up to date with the latest fitness trends and strategies?

Getting in Shape Can Cost as Little as a Haircut!
I was at a party once and I overheard a conversation between my wife and some other female friends and family members. They were talking about getting their hair cut and colored. Out of curiosity, I interjected and asked what the cost was for a average cut and color. Their responses shocked me, $55-$100 just to get it cut and then as much as another $100 added for color. This conversation got me thinking what the costs are for other services that make us feel good about ourselves.
Here are some average costs for some services you might be familiar with:
The point of telling you this is that these are all services that are purchased on a regular basis that are meant to make you look and feel better, but they also are services that have diminishing return. What I mean by that is that the effects of the services only last a short time period. Hair and nails grow, tan and polish fade. A massage makes you feel relaxed, but soon after, the effects wear off.
Funny thing is that many of these same folks who enjoy those services use cost as a hurdle to prevent them for hiring a personal trainer. Exercise and personal fitness could actually be considered a long-term investment. Since exercise has a long-term impact on your health and happiness, it could be considered an investment in your future. In addition, the healthier you are, the less you’ll spend on health care, medication and medical co-pays for doctor visits.
Train With Corey’s hourly fee is EASILY competitive with (and probably lower than) the rates of most reputable hairdressers, and the price a boxercise class or Saturday bootcamp is well within the range of a full set of nails or a spray-on tan.
Bottom line – you really can afford to hire a personal trainer like Train With Corey. Along with your other health, beauty, and wellness services, it’s a perfect fit for you and your pocketbook.
Train With Corey Owner and Head Fitness Motivator Corey Dissin and assistant trainer Pascal Shin, are the first two MMACA Certified Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Coaches in Pennsylvania and are among the first ten fitness trainers to complete this particular certification IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!
The Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Association (MMACA) is the MMA certification division of NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association), an international fitness association established in 1992 which holds the prestigious NCCA national accreditation for its Personal Fitness Trainer Certification.
The MMACA was developed to bridge the gap between sports conditioning science, Mixed Martial Arts training methods, and direct application for competitive fighting. As part of the MMACA certification process, Corey and Pascal spent over 70 hours of study and completed testing in exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports nutrition, sports psychology and conditioning program design (all as it pertains to MMA). The course also covered Olympic weightlifting techniques, powerlifting techniques, bodyweight exercises, kettlebell training and other modalities specific to MMA. Corey and Pascal have the ability to integrate effective and proven sport-specific conditioning drills for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, and others into training routines currently held at the Train With Corey private fitness studio in Parkeford at Longstreth Center – right off of Route 724 at Wells Road, and minutes from Pottstown, Stowe, Spring City, Sanatoga, and Phoenixville.
“We’re proud to have Corey as one of our initial graduates. We wish him continued success as he puts the MMACA curriculum into action,” says Dr. John Spencer Ellis, CEO of MMACA. “It is our mission to further legitimize the sport of mixed martial arts, develop high performance athletes, reduce MMA training injuries, and to share and teach the MMA training principles to the general fitness enthusiast.”
“Mixed Martial Arts is hot,” says Dissin, “Just look at how the UFC is exploding and how brands like Tapout and Affliction are becoming more and more mainstream. The MMA Conditioning Coach credential allows us to confidently train our clients like a professional MMA fighter without the risks associated with actual MMA competitions. We’re looking forward to sharing what we learned with our current and future clients.”
If you’ve ever trained in a health club or gym, you know how potentially distracting that atmosphere can be: weights banging, music blaring and everyone talking around you. Some gyms even have the stigma of being labeled as a “meat-market” or nightclub, which may intimidate the exercise novice from attending regularly.
Even if you workout at home, interruptions can be unavoidable there too.
Now imagine you could kick everyone out of the gym (or your house) and have the whole place to yourself with maybe one or two others working out at the same time. This essentially is what a place like Train With Corey’s studio can offer. You may not have all the volume of equipment that a gym would, but you will have the machines and gear to get the job done, as well as a fitness professional dedicated to creating your workout and guiding you every step of the way. In this private fitness studio environment, you don’t compete with anyone else for your personal trainer’s attention, or for the use of the equipment. This unique and secure personal training experience helps you devote all your concentration and energy to your workout. It’s almost like “your home gym away from home,” where you can stay focused, energized, continually motivated, and you can Get To The Next Level!
